My husband and I loved our stay at the Addison so much that we didn't want to leave. Bob, Shannon and Leigh did a fantastic job of making everyone feel at home. The rooms were extremely clean, the breakfast was delicious and the daily happy hours were a great place to mingle with other guests and relax inside from the cold weather. Don't hesitate to book your stay at the Addison!!

My husband and I went here for our 10th anniversary. The rooms were amazing, the breakfasts were delicious, and Bob was very informative and helpful. We loved that they had bikes here and we were able to ride them to the beach and to Fort Clinch. (It's about 9 miles round trip to go all the way to the fort and back.) We also loved the courtyard and only wish it had been warmer so we could have eaten outside overlooking the courtyard.

This is a great location and there is so much to do within walking distance. Some of our favorite restaurants were Lulu's, Bonito Grill and Sushi, and Espana. We did an Amelia Island River Cruise and that was definitely the highlight of our trip.

We stayed in room 14, which had a private porch overlooking Ash St. I think all of the rooms are probably great though.

Two minor things - the rooms were not very dark during the night. I woke up at 2 AM and thought the sun was up already. Also, they have DVD's that you can take to your room to watch, but no DVD player! I guess you can watch it on your laptop if you brought one....?

I would definitely come back here again!

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, choose a room that's not right on Ash St. You can see the floor...

My girl fried took me there as a suprise for Christmas and I was quite surprised. Never having stayed at a B & B I was impressed with the accommodations, service and food.
The Inn Keepers were great as they new this was a firast for me. Very friendly and knowledgeable and offered a nice "happy hour". The room was great. The entire facility was in great condition and well maintained. The breakfast was a family recipe and the quiche was delicious. Very friendly place.

We stayed at the Addison in December to celebrate our Anniversary. It was our first time at a B&B. The Addison was beautiful, clean and doily free, as I like to call it. I have often shied away from B&B because pictures would show a stuffy and overly busy decor, like I was going to visit my grandma's home but worse. The Addison, however, was tastefully decorated with clean lines and soothing colors, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The Christmas decorations were equally tasteful, done in nutcrackers and sea-stars, and natural looking evergreen. We especially enjoyed the tasty breakfast every morning, the wonderful "Happy Hour" in the afternoon and using the bicycles that were available for free for the guests. The Innkeepers, Bob and Shannon, were wonderful hosts. Although we happened to be the only guests during our stay, they managed to make us feel welcome and cared for without making us feel hovered over or uncomfortable. This was a big win and in the future, will be one of our favorite Anniversary memories.

My husband and I recently came to Amelia Island for a wedding, and turned our stay into a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with our experience at the Addison. Bob was always available with advice and help; the house, rooms and gardens are charming; the location is great (a short walk to the main area with many fun shops and excellent restaurants); and the breakfast at the Addison was fantastic! Staying at the Addison provided a personal touch which really made us feel at home and was in itself one of the nicest parts of our trip.

We stayed at the Addison this november. The innkeepers are extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. Fresh and delicious breakfast is served each morning with a casual happy hour every day for appetizers and drinks. The house is beautiful and very clean. I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone who chooses to visit Amelia Island!

The personalized experience and attention to detail made this one of the best getaways we have ever had. Thank you so much to the whole staff who are kind, generous and friendly. We can't wait for an excuse to go again! We were particularly taken with the excursions that they planned in advance for us and the amazing food. Have no doubts about booking here, you will be well taken care of and the luxurious rooms are a joy to spend time in if you want a break from all the fun the island offers.
