I just happened to see a sign outside this lovely seaside building that said "now serving lunch" so i took a chance. What a charming place! I sat on the back porch h and enjoyed a beautiful view and a gentle breeze. I chose crab cakes served with a nice romaine salad, fruit and a blueberry scone. It was delicious. The crab cakes were pure crab and quite fresh tasting. I have never been a huge fan of the scone, but it was also extremely tasty. I can't wait to try this place again.

The Elizabeth Pointe Lodge made a week-long work trip feel like being "home" (well, if my home was oceanside...). Warm, welcoming and friendly staff make sure you have everything you need. The front desk folks are your go-to for any request and are knowledgeable for local recommendations. Even the chef comes out during the complimentary happy hour (hors d'oeuvres and wine/beer) to say hello. The rooms are super clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Get up early, fill a plate from their delicious breakfast buffet, and head out on to the patio to enjoy sunrise over the ocean. And don't forget to try the daily variety of muffins/scones with a mug of fresh brewed coffee because it's THAT good. The lodge is right on the beach and it's a quick drive to downtown Fernandina Beach - plenty of shops and excellent restaurants (try farm-to-table 29 South...amazing!). Highly recommend EPL without any hesitation!

Room tip: For a lower rate, ask for a sunset room at the end of a floor; you can still see the ocean from two side windows.

After a long 5 hr. drive with no success finding a place on Amelia Island without prior reservations, Elizabeth Pointe Lodge genuinely cared and welcomed us without hesitation. We enjoyed a very romantic, relaxing evening as a guest.

The staff at the EPL was amazing and everything we could have wanted right down to the arrival they met us with a smile and showed us the property. The Steward Jeremiah was so attentive taking our things to our room and showing us around. The beautiful young lady that checked us in (Please forgive her name escapes me) she was just as wonderful and so personable, tell her Jacquelyn and William Marcus 4/29/2017,apologize for not looking at her name tag as we thought she was so professional and just lovely. We loved our stay and will highly recommend EPL to all our friends and family. Thank you so much the room was just lovely and so cozy, our bed was turned down upon our return from dinner and we really enjoyed the chairs on the front porch overlooking the Beach. It was a wonderful weekend!

Room tip: Quiet King nonview room overlooking Parking entrance with foliage views

Our visit to Elizabeth Pointe Lodge was the best vacation we have ever had. The accommodations were lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was wonderful. Excellent care was taken to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted.

Room tip: The rooms in the Ocean House are more private than the main lodge.
