Description: We are located on the Barron River, beautiful water side dinning. We pride ourselves in offering our customers fresh local seafood. Our menu has a variety of things to choose from, several vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as we'll as real angus beef burgers and delicious Ribeye stakes. Our salads are made with organic herbs that we pick daily to provide the freshest bursts of flavor possible. Our ordering method is a little different than a conventional restaurant, you order at the counter and we bring you the food when it is ready. We tend to get extremely busy in season and on some occasions the wait for your food to be delivered can be 25 to 50 minutes. We have entertainment on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights for our customers to relax and enjoy the eclectic environment. Our motto Is not turning tables, we want to provide our customers with a nice, relaxing pleasurable visit wether it's sitting on our sofas in our outdoor lounge playing backgammon or soaking up the sun on the dock. Hope everyone can stop by and enjoy some amazing food overlooking the Barron river l!!! See y'all soon!!

“good food, nice ambience”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

"Down home" bistro/cafe style restaurant with a strong local flare. Loved the quirkiness of the decor. Good food. A fresh herb garden outside and was wonderful to see them picking the herbs when we arrived early for lunch. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend this restaurant and definitely be back. We had the fish tacos and the mussels and both were very good.

“Local Flavor”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Most popular local spot. Service not fast but worth the visit. Very friendly, on the water, and a band on Friday night.

“Painfully slow service and quirky should not mean filthy!”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

I wanted to like this quirky place, but it was just awful. The food is pretty good, but it took forever to get it and with kids that can be awful. It was also just dirty. The highchair I got had mildew on the seat. I realize it's FL and it's humid, but a restaurant should be clean.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

We stopped for lunch after an airboat tour and were pleasantly surprised by this cute cafe/grille. It is low key- order at the counter & seat yourself. We love low key- the surprise was the unbeatable quality of food. Homemade, great flavor combinations with high quality food. Kids loved the shakes. Crab cake was among the best I've ever had anywhere!! The vegetarian in our family was thrilled with so many yummy choices. Definitely worth the stop!

“Excellent food!”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

Excellent food and ambiance. We went back twice during our limited stay in Everglades City. Only things I would sort of fault them on were the sort of odd service arrangement and mosquitoes. Obviously didn't stop us from going a second time, but we made sure to wear pants and sit inside the second time. Much better.
