Description: We are located on the Barron River, beautiful water side dinning. We pride ourselves in offering our customers fresh local seafood. Our menu has a variety of things to choose from, several vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as we'll as real angus beef burgers and delicious Ribeye stakes. Our salads are made with organic herbs that we pick daily to provide the freshest bursts of flavor possible. Our ordering method is a little different than a conventional restaurant, you order at the counter and we bring you the food when it is ready. We tend to get extremely busy in season and on some occasions the wait for your food to be delivered can be 25 to 50 minutes. We have entertainment on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights for our customers to relax and enjoy the eclectic environment. Our motto Is not turning tables, we want to provide our customers with a nice, relaxing pleasurable visit wether it's sitting on our sofas in our outdoor lounge playing backgammon or soaking up the sun on the dock. Hope everyone can stop by and enjoy some amazing food overlooking the Barron river l!!! See y'all soon!!

Right on the water it´s an special family owned restaurant. You seat yourself and order in the counter. Specialize in sea food. Great stone crabs and clams with pasta. Priced $$ is a good alternative when you are in Everglades city

“Outdoor dining”

Right on the canal. Old time southern cafe, most food fried, most food comes in a basket, and all of the food is delicious! One of a couple of worthwhile spots in EC!

“A little slice of heaven”

Eclectic and artful décor, comfortable seating, refreshing breezes, awesome food, and friendly service -- what more could we ask? We spent a very pleasant evening here and hope to spend many more. Herb salad is scrumptious. Ribs were tender, succulent and flavorful. I wanted to put the Stone Crab dip on everything, it was so good. Veges had actual grill marks on them and nice seasoning. Even the rice side dish was delightful. Key Lime Pie was a sweet, tangy, custardy finish. Just what we needed after a hot day on the birding trails.

“Good but just mediocre”

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. The stone crab cost $3 per claw and wasn't that flavorful compared to let's say, snow crab or king crab. Maybe it's just what we ordered, because the other reviews are so good. Nice outdoor seating though. Open oct thru may and closed in summer I'm told.

“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

We discovered the Camellia Street Grill here. The reviews sounded good, and the house met or exceeded every expectation.

The 'gator appetizer alone was worth the drive down to Everglades City.

This is not a fancy place, informal but nice. You place your order at a window. However, the food is delivered and it is remarkably good. We sat outside and enjoyed the waterview.

I only wish it were not so far away from home.
