Description: We are located on the Barron River, beautiful water side dinning. We pride ourselves in offering our customers fresh local seafood. Our menu has a variety of things to choose from, several vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as we'll as real angus beef burgers and delicious Ribeye stakes. Our salads are made with organic herbs that we pick daily to provide the freshest bursts of flavor possible. Our ordering method is a little different than a conventional restaurant, you order at the counter and we bring you the food when it is ready. We tend to get extremely busy in season and on some occasions the wait for your food to be delivered can be 25 to 50 minutes. We have entertainment on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights for our customers to relax and enjoy the eclectic environment. Our motto Is not turning tables, we want to provide our customers with a nice, relaxing pleasurable visit wether it's sitting on our sofas in our outdoor lounge playing backgammon or soaking up the sun on the dock. Hope everyone can stop by and enjoy some amazing food overlooking the Barron river l!!! See y'all soon!!

“Look for the pink beetle out front”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

I've eaten in Everglades City probably three times before I even heard of this place -- oh, the missed opportunities! Loved this spot, but know what you are getting: there are no fancy tablecloths, here. What there is is good food and a great FL experience: order at the counter (be sure to check the specials) and enjoy the quirky decor. If you're lucky, a good live band will keep you entertained. We shared both seafood and meat dishes on our recent dinner; both were good. I will NOT miss the opportunity to eat here again. Be sure to call before you come, as they are closed for a few months in the summer.

Nice and plain food, good atmosphere. You can sit outside next to the water and have your dinner at sunset. Good pricing too.

“Gator meat and cold beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

Great funky place located right on the water with great fresh food. A must visit for it's beautiful outdoor setting on the water, in a very small out-of-the-way Florida town. The tasty gator meat and ice cold beer made us want to linger on for hours watching life on the waterways. Note: they close for a month in early summer.

Friendly staff and owner; good tasting food; view on the water; and never crowded! It's my new favorite place.

“Well Earned its #1 Rating in Everglades City and Ranks up there in FL”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

Fresh salad with restaurant grown herbs and tropical fruits was enough to pleasantly surprise your taste buds. But that was only the warm-up for Clams with fennel, as an appetizer served in a delicious broth or as an entree served on pasta. Other dishes we tried were crab cake, bigger and tastier than you have ever tried before, and Grouper Salad similar to the salad served with some meals, but fish to die for! Camilla Street provides an eclectic décor and an unforgettable sunset over the river silhouetted palms; It doesn't get much better than this anywhere.
