Between the reviews and the long line out the door, I had my hopes up. This was nothing special however. I had the frog leg basket, and they were pretty bland. Not much seasoning on the legs themselves or in the breading. Also kinda disappointing that "fried" was the only option for the frog and gator. Conch fritters were ok, but again, nothing special.

If you want casual waterside dining, this is a great place. You can sit outside, order your food and pick it up. Wraps were good as was the blackened fish plate. Not sure what the fish was. The sweet potato fries were cold and the hush puppies not all that good. The clam basket was overlooked. But, if you want to sit outside and relax, it was OK.

Order lunch and pick up at window. Sit and watch the fish and airboats. Good selection from burgers, salads and seafood. Great lunch stop. Homemade ice cream was yummy treat.

This restaurant is right near the Everglades National Park Visitor Center, just outside the park. It's extremely casual, outdoors setting on the water, and a great way to sit on a sheltered picnic bench while enjoying the view and eating simply prepared, incredibly fresh seafood. The conch and the soft shell crab were both very good. Our daughter had a hamburger -- not what I'd have picked! They also have a fresh fish counter that looks great for buying fish to prepare yourself. The service is good and very friendly. And the ambiance is definitely very local to the area.

The menu was huge....if you are looking for gator to frog legs to soft shell crab...this place is a must! Great view of the water and very friendly staff. and in my opinion the best gator in Florida! They know how to cook it so it tender and spicy. Cheers to the cook!
