If you like oysters on the half-shell, this is the place to get them. I'm originally from Maryland and I grew up eating oysters and steamed crabs. I can eat two or three dozen oysters and still be hungry. You order a dozen and you're likely to get 15 or 16, and they're all good sized. You can order them by the bucket. The place is definitely casual—it is an oyster bar. But they have good seafood as well.

We have visited this this place several times over the past year. We all live in the, or have a residence in the,Ormond Beach, Palm Coast, or Flagler Beach area. Previous visits have been very good. Good oysters, good food and cold beer. We have been advised that the place sold. Have not confirmed but current behavior by the employees of the place appear to be correct assumption. We concluded that the owners did not wish to pay the price of the oyster vendor. Oysters were not good and only one kind was offered Only able to purchase dozen at a time while previous visits had no limit. Employee excuse was that not enough oyster people to harvest available oysters. Servers and shucker person were surely and were not the least bit interested in serving us. There were only 4 customers in the place plus the 6 of our group. We spent about $150 during our stay. We will not return due to employees attitude as well as oyster availability. We see no reason to return to this place but will drive down the street to give the other place a try.

They don't go into decking the place out but spend all their energies in being friendly and providing good food. If you like raw oysters this is the place to get them and the rest of their seafood is great as well. We are always full and full of good times when we go here.

Personally I don't eat raw oysters but my husband just loves them on crackers with hot sauce. So we looked up Oyster Bars in the area (we were staying at Mission Inn) and wanted to eat at a local place. Service was great and the food was wonderful. I had coconut shrimp and he had oysters and a fish dinner.

It's not the fanciest place but we knew that from reading on line. It didn't matter we were not out in our sequine gown and tuxedo.

Try them out!!
