We have stayed in Fort Myers for the last 6 years as our children are attending college nearby. On this visit, we decided not to stay at our regular hotel (Grandstay/Wynstar) as this one was closer to the apartment our daughter was moving into. The Hampton Inn was absolutely fantastic and we will, without a doubt, stay here again and again. (Or at least till our daughter graduates!). The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely friendly...the front desk clerk, the manager, the breakfast assistants and the maids. The rooms were perfect, the a/c worked well and was quiet, the bathrooms were roomy and clean. The rooms were soundproofed quite well, and the beds were super comfortable.

I was very unsure of this (don't usually do chains) but I am so pleased that we chose this hotel. The staff were fantastic, helpful and informative. The room had all that we needed (fridge/microwave/free Wii-Fi/coffee machine). It was spotlessly clean and each day that we came back it was as though we had never been there. Breakfast was fine with a good choice every morning - I can't believe that they can offer so much for the price we paid.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights was told at check in the next 2 nights were not busy and we should receive an upgrade the following night. Checked at reception the next morning with the girl who had checked us but no upgrade. The hotel was not busy and we thought it would have been a nice jester. On check in the first day there were dirty towels at the front entrance .............did not look the best.
This is a nice hotel with nice breakfast........the tv is very old fashioned.
Location is across the road from applebees and walkable to ruby tuesdays (about 5 minutes). The shopping outlets and germain arena are less than 5 minutes drive.

Stayed here in October 2010. New hotel. Friendly, efficient service. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast. Good value. I've stayed in many Hamptons, and this didn't disappoint. I was a little uneasy about the inter-leading door in my room (I don't know why they still build those), but no disturbance from that side at all -- perhaps no-one in the neighboring room that night. Had trouble authenticating for the WiFi, so used the ethernet cable instead. Drove a few miles to a restaurant -- CPK: good food, but v-e-r-y slow service.

During our Florida road trip, we stayed in six different Hamptons. The Estero location was definitely one of the best. It seemed almost brand new. The room was perfectly clean, which is very important to me. Our room with a king bed had a microwave and small refrigerator. If you are looking for a Hampton in this vicinity, I strongly recommend this one.

Wow! We were treated like 5-Star guests at this Hampton Inn! We had an am arrival in Ft. Myers, and were actually welcomed, talked to, and checked into a room that was ready so we could move on to our meetings. What a pleasant start! And the fine treatment continued. Each time we walked thru the lobby we were cheerfully and sincerely greeted by the desk staff. The advertised "hot breakfast" was one of the nicest ones we have encountered-hot waffles, a nice variety of coffees, teas, lots of different bread and pastry items, egg dishes, yogurts, cereals, fruits. And, all were nicely presented. All the counters and tables were clean and neat. The utensils were neatly separated into containers with token utensils on top, so no one had to rummage thru a tray to select cutlery. A young lady kept a watchful eye on the guests and even helped prepare waffles for us! Our room was quiet and clean, with a nice view of a natural woodsy area. The bath was roomy, and very clean, with a tub-shower, towel hooks, and a console type sink area--plenty of room on the 2 shelves below for all the bath stuff. Towels were not rationed-we consistently received 4 sets for our queen double. Products were replenished-soap, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer. The room was made up consistently-nothing was overlooked. Beds were good-3 pillows on each. We had a desk and chair, also a microwave and small fridge. Location is convenient to the many restaurants at Coconut Point Mall. We were about 15-20 minutes from the airport. We are Hilton fans and usually stay at their properties, but had not tried Hampton Inn in quite a while. Well, the brand has really had a makeover since we last stayed with them, and we like it! And, it was done with personality-check out the "road warriors" sign in the elevator and the square notepads labeled "thought pad!" This HI is exceptionally well managed and the staff is very well-trained to ensure their guests have a good stay! The organization and management at this HI is consistent with a much more expensive brand. We will be back!
