The food was excellent with lots of different items to choose from plus over 10 specials. Atmosphere was nice but it is in a random location...don't let it scare you. If you want a great Italian meal, homemade pasta and tons of unique options then go check out this place!

Wow .... good & bad reviews over these past months. Always see cars in front; trusted the 'good' reviews. Like all Florida, restaurants tend to be just another doorway in a mall .... (actually asked several owners and consistent was the answer: availability, patrons see your name, see the menu on the web; better then coupons). Farfella (meaning butterfly in Italian) is no different BUT once inside you immediately forget about a strip-mall atmosphere. Upscale interior, lovely table setting, all behind a partition created by the host stand (man not women). Making the reservation was pleasant, greeting and sitting by the host also.
Waiter had a higher-then-thu attitude but it didn't impact the excellent service (maybe the waiter was a high-strung type). Wine selection by bottle & glass very good (we had both). The recommended Chanti was excellent but expensive.
Everything cooked to order, so don't get antsy. Salads ample and served & cleared timely with main courses. Main courses of Ravoli w/stuffed crab, Pollo Sorrentina, Bolognese & Pappardale. All excellent, tasty and ample portion. Tiramisu and Italian cheese cake shared for desert. Cappuccino and Tawny port after that. (Expensive for area !)
Another wow for us; we plan to return!!!

Whenever I visit my parents this is the place I crave! The service is impeccable, the selection is fantastic, his specials are vast and not to be missed. Michael (the owner) is truly an artisan. If you haven't been to Farfalla, what are you waiting for - Run, don't walk!

Unfortunately, we are from the Boston, Providence area and we frequent many, many Italian Restaurants and we have become accustomed to fine Italian dining. We ordered the fried calamari as our appetizer it was bland and tasteless. The marinara sauce tasted like it was right out of a can. I ordered the Veal Saltimbocca and the sauce tasted like gravy out of the can. The prosciutto was like a wet piece of cardboard. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Farfalla. She said the sauce had no taste. We skipped the desert because we didnt want to take a chance on more bad food. We just paid our bill and left.

5 star quality food.
Gracious service.
I stopped by late on a Friday evening. The stracciatella soup was the best Bd oh, so fresh!
The homemade ravioli with spinach and ricotta (special pasta of the evening) was light.
I will definitely frequent this jewel.
