We came back for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. So peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Beautiful, CLEAN beach. The room was clean and pretty, as it was last winter. Don't know why anyone would bring alot of makeup and a curling iron to the beach, but the bathroom is small, but otherwise adequate for what we needed it for, and much bigger than a bathroom in a European hotel would be.

We even had guests-- 2 couples and their 2 small children and used one of the shady picnic areas and grills and then our room, and had plenty of room for everyone, without feeling cramped. Wonderful weekend-- our new favorite place!

My husband and I wanted to stay on Manasota Key and had seen the Pearl Beach Inn on a visit. We could tell from the road it wasn't a 5 star hotel, but we did exspect a little more for our $239.00 plus tax. Our room was 'on' the gulf, literally. A few steps out our King Studio Gulf/Front was the deck and then the water. We liked that, what we had a problem with was a tiny bathroom without a bathroom vanity (I used the microwave for my make-up bag and a outlet near the bed for my curling iron), no hair dryer, no daily fresh towels, and sitting on the potty was very tricky --the door was too close and you almost sat spread eagle. TThe room was clean, the view was wonderful, the people were nice and helpful and the Key is to die for.

i just have to say that the pearl beach inn is a remarkable place.
not only was the staff very generous but they went out of there way
to accomidate us when we were put in a room that was not the correct room(thank god for comformation letters)i showed them my print out and they immediately put us into another room.i think that the rooms are very beautiful and charming.we had everything but a kitchen stove.this made it seem like home.we walked the beach, looked for sharks teeth(which might i say they are quite a few there)and relaxed.i have never seen my family so relaxed(including myself).so if you ever need to get away and just relax and you would love to hear the ocean waves first thing in
the morning and let it be the last thing at night before you fall
asleep then i suggest that the pearl beach inn be the spot.we are forsurely making this an annual stay.

I was very disappointed with the Pearl Beach Inn. The rooms were very small, simple and less than adequetly clean. I found the staff rather unfriendly and even outright rude. Besides the weather which was fantastic all week there was very little on the positive side.

My Husband and I stayed at the Pearl Beach Inn June 10, 2007.
The Web Cam on the Web Site does not due it justice. It is really much more quaint & beautiful! We stayed in Room #3, small patio which was steps away from a deck overlooking the ocean. The room was very clean, with a pillow top mattress, refrigerator, coffee maker. microwave & flat screen TV. We could see the sunsetting over the ocean from our room.. It was spetacular! My Father-in law lives in Englewood (young 85) the room is easily accessible to someone who needs a walker, cane or Wheelchair - Our hostess was lovely! WE WILL BE BACK! The Inn is surrounded by private homes.. thus the beach was very private! VERY VERY NICE!
