This is a city park located off of McCall Rd, near the Walmart. You take San Casa south and less than a mile down the road you will see this park on the right. This is a park for adults and kids. Check out the website for all the activities it has to offer. A few things immediately obvious are a basketball court, skate board area, tennis courts and a pool. Behind the activity areas is a good sized nature walk. There is a map on the web site for that as well. It is pretty well packed (mainly sand and shell) so easy to walk on and ride your bike. I was surprised to see a nice bridge over a creek that allowed for some good views. There is parking for the nature walk off of Placida Dr, but there are no amenities there, only parking. On that side there is quicker water access for those who want to fish or launch a kayak. Also right across the street from this parking area is Cedar Point Environmental Park. You can extend your walking or biking across the street in this park. If you like to watch birds this area is good for that as well.
The entire park was very clean and well maintained. If you are in the Englewood area and want to do some physical activities, either alone or with your kids, you should check this park out.
You will also notice as you are coming to this park that you pass the Humane Society, and they have a nice dog park in between it and the park. They have divided areas for the larger and smaller dogs. So while the kids are playing at Ann Dever, take the dog for a little play next door.
