“Nice addition to Placida Rd”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

This building has had several different restaurants over the years. This one seems to be off to a good start. Every time we drive by the parking lot is full. We went on a Sunday evening about 7. We were seated immediately in the dining room, but there were lots of people on the enclosed patio. The waitress was friendly. They have a varied menu, Italian dishes and some seafood. There were six of us, we had 5 different dishes. Spaghetti and meat sauce was good, generous helping, seafood fra divialo was very good, chicken cutlet was very good, chicken Alfredo tasted good, but was more like a soup than a sauce, very thin. One of our party ordered clam chowder and garlic knots. She was first served chicken noodle soup, but when she told the waitress, it was corrected. She liked the noodle soup better than the chowder! The bread served with the dinners was good and hot. We'll try it again.

“What an amazing place! Great homemade bread, pasta, and pizza!”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

My family and I went to dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing! I had the all you can eat fish fry(great deal) and my husband and kids shared a veggiezilla pizza. It was absolutely mouthwatering! The waitress we had (sam) was very curtious and informative.

The other reviews here could not be more wrong. Al is a very good business owner. He cares about his staff and the quality of food that goes out. If you had a bad experience then you need to bring it up to him. In my opinion, if you don't bring it up then you're not a good customer. How are they supposed to improve if you give them no feed back?

They are a new restaurant, as any, will have kinks to work out. We feel like their family when we are there. They have done a great job renovating the place and my family and I can't wait to go there and enjoy the wonderful homemade food for years to come. If you want fast food and not homemade, go to McDonald's!

“Don't waste your time”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Tried this restaurant for the first time in their new location and it was very disappointing. Three of us went for a late lunch and we were the only people in the dining room. There were two people dining on the patio. Two of us ordered sandwiches and another ordered an entree. The steak & cheese sandwich was served with fries. It was sent back because the steak had an aftertaste, the roll was slightly burnt, and the fries overdone. The server offered to replace it with something else, but the offer was declined. The reuben special was just ok and the chicken parm came with a salad (mostly lettuce), al dente penne that was stuck together, and a burnt chicken cutlet. My friends ate their meals rather than send them back but were dissatisfied with the preparation and quality of the meal. We waited a little more than 35 minutes for our meals to be served. We won't be eating here again.
