What a treat this little bistro is with its menu where nothing is deep fried! The menu is quite small but daily specials are offered to add a bit more choice. You can sit outside near the dock, under a canopy near the water, or inside where the wine bar is located. Reservations are accepted....even for two people. The place was full, so reservations would be a good idea. Wine selection is good and prices were not too bad. The menu offers lighter dinners as well as main courses. We shared the Goat Cheese and Leek Fondue(melted chèvre, leeks, lemon and white wine served with grilled crostini). It was fabulous! Bread basket held slices of multigrain baguette and olive bread accompanied by a flavourful garlic, herb olive oil for dipping. The Grilled Rosemary Marinated Beef Bistro Tender was most enjoyable. It was served with poached grape tomatoes, roasted fingerling potatoes topped with blue cheese crumbles. Presentation was great with squiggles of balsamic reduction. The lump crab cake was good and served with the most tasty red pepper chutney that I have ever tasted as well as a good chive citrus aioli. The crab cake is offered as an appetizer or as a dinner served with salad. Other selections on the menu sounded equally as good so we will definitely be returning to this spot. Service was good and unrushed, just the way we like it.
