I made the mistake of eating breakfast at Winks this morning. When we arrived there was a line at the door and we said wow!, this must be great. We decided to eat at the counter and were enthusiastically seated by the counter waitperson. The problems began: We were than ignored for about 15 minutes.I finally said "may we order?to the waitperson. She answered of course and returned to take our order 10 minutes later. In the meantime the male cashier seeing our distress bought us coffee and the waitperson a very small orange juice. When we mentioned the small orange juice (we ordered a medium) the waitperson said that she would bring the correct size which happened with three reminders and 15 minutes later. Our food order finally arrived. The omeletts were good but the potatoes were very overdone and only half of the texas toast that I ordered was Texas toast ,the piece beneath the top piece was regular toast. The cashier and the waitstaff and patrons were constantly discussing problems with the bills and trying to figure out what table got what. There was a bottleneck directly in front of us(there was only room for one person to pass through at a time) with with waitstaff and cashier constantly bumping into each other and trying and to avoid each other. The whole incident reminded me of a very well choreographed 3 stooges movies. We finally after an hour in our seats stood up asked for the bill .Our waitperson said" No problem!"than took one look at the pile of six unpriced bills and left for an indefinite period..5 minutes later another waitperson asked if we wanted some help.We said YES and left.with a sigh of relief.I will never return unless it is to film a stuation comedy .
