This restaurant seems to be a great stopping off point after my reiki share on Tuesday.A great lunch menu excellent menu extra special service and a view of the water. Weather permitting we sit outside but inside or out side the food is excellent its just moving down the street corner of Dearborn and word on the street they are serving breakfast

We happened upon Howard’s while sightseeing during our stay at Palm Island Resort in nearby Cape Haze. It was all-you-can-eat fish night, so that is what we all ordered. The farm-raised Basa (similar to cod) was freshly made with a panko coating and sweet potato fries appeared to be made from fresh. Dinner included bread and one trip to the salad bar with a selection of salads that included basic green salads along with pasta, potato, macaroni, bean and corn salads. The salad bar was a vegetarian’s dream. Food was good and price was budget friendly at about $12 per person.

Howard's had excellent fried Basa, which I had never heard of. We also tried the shrimp scampi which was great. The salad bar was huge and the staff were very friendly. We know it's a good place to eat when it's packed with the locals.

Drove right by this place, wasn't impressed with the exterior and decided it wasn't a place I would prefer eating at. Apparently, they are relocating so maybe the next one would be more inviting.

The salad was "tired" looking and the food was good, but reminded me of "cafeteria style" food. But we had a great time; the entertainment was great- they have a man with a voice like Al Martino doing Dean Martin?Frank Sinatra favorites; we loved it!
