Good rock and blues bands on weekends. The rectangular bar is open air, but under cover, so a smoker's paradise. (Not my cup of tea). Some of the menu items a bit overpriced given your food arrives in a plastic basket with waxed paper. i.e. salmon approx $20, coconut shrimp $10.99.
Really mixed crowd. on weekend afternoons, families, bikers and at night a middle aged "meet"
market.
Sip a drink, enjoy the bands and dine elsewhere in my opinion.

Atmosphere is excellent! Live music, great food & outstanding service. Suzanne was our waitress and she was fantastic!!!!! We were vacationing from WI and went there on Sunday evening for dinner! Highly recommend!

Ate lunch with my niece. Great grouper and crab cakes. Waitress was very tentative and nice. They have a lot of specialty drinks to try. Has a lot of atmosphere; right by the water.

I may hate myself for giving this review as it is my secret getaway and it is already usually packed but it is too enjoyable not to share it. It is located near the Highway 75 (Ellenton turnoff) near the Ellenton Mall. What it isn't is fancy but what it is can best be described as a step back to what you envisioned Florida to offer. It is on the Manatee River and they do have an outside bar and dining as well as entertainment. They also have refreshments on a pier across from the main dining area. This is where small boats come in and owners stop for a meal or a drink before heading up the river. Sometimes it is near impossible to find a parking spot but many times it is not an issue. There is parking along the street and valet parking so you will find a spot if it is busy. We go for lunch as it is not quite as packed. I have tried both the coconut shrimp and the crab cakes and loved them both. Great place to people watch and feel like you are in a Florida from another era.

The view is nice. You sit and look at the water..we usually see dolphins...prices are a little higher than average..
