Waitress kept dropping things on the floor, then handled food items.Decor is tacky. Food had no flavor at all. Not the same quality it used to be.

Crabs, crabs, crabs . . . any way you like them . . . crab soup, crab salad, crab cake, crab supreme, crab Norfolk, deviled crab .. . you get the picture? One of the favorites of the group was the trio . . . crab, lobster, and scallops . . . this would be a lovely place for lunch . . . overlooks a lake . . . a group of 27 came in just before us . . . so the kitchen was backed up a bit but the waiter did a great job . . . only drawback is that one needs to either walk up steps or up a long ramp . . . but my husband did it the 2nd night because the food was so good

We have eaten here for years with family and friends. Never tried the crab cakes before this trip as we had the crab norfolk or imperial- both delicious but rich! Grouper Oscar- excellent and loaded with crab! Crab cakes are nothing but crab and no Old Bay overwhelming the wonderful crab meat. Be sure to try the sweet potato chips with cinnamon and sugar and the 3 crab soup- expensive but worth every penny. Service can be inconsistent and slow, not sure if understaffed or kitchen is slow but enjoy the view and indulge in the wonderful crab dishes.

Went to Crab Trap and the cars were parked up and down the road. We went in and they said the wait would be 45 mins. We stayed, the wait ended up being just 25 mins YAY! The food was Great and so was the service. We will definately be back.

We had excellent service at both visits last week. Warm bread, crisps salads and the happy hour wine special started us off. Our group had crab cakes (rich and wonderful!), fried shrimp and fried scallops--cooked perfectly and so sweet! I had seafood au gratin. The portions proved to be more than we could eat. The decor is delightfully old school and kitschy and hasn't changed in the many years we've enjoyed coming here. A little dated, but fun. I think the service and food was back to its previous excellence. The Key Lime pie is sooo good! We love coming here!
