I guess NY style pizza crust is floury tasting (raw flour was all over the bottom of the crust) and the sauce tastes tin can like. I guess, being from the south, I don't know what good pizza tastes like; so I am told. I didn't even get through half of the meatball sub; the meatballs were bland and again soaked in that tinny tasting sauce. BTW, it was hard to get the waiters attention.

Just went to Pavarotti's for the first time. The medium calzone is huge. Definitely enough to feed at least 2 people, and for only $9. It was very good and so were the garlic knots. The lasagna was not typical lasagna. I would probably not get it again. Can't wait to try the white pizza. If you choose to eat there, plan on a wait There are about 7 booths and 4 tables only. Very small, cozy restaurant, and their prices are very reasonable.

Cozy restaurant in the Sweet Bay shopping center in the
heart of the city; Pavarotti's offers wonderful italian dishes
and pizza. With both tables and booths, the atmosphere
consists of happy, friendly servers and great food. Don't this
gem of Dunnellon

Not a lot in the town so dining options are small. Customer service has been terrible on a number of occasions. If you get to go be sure to ask for a to go box. As crazy as this sounds...you have to request it or they will place some of the items in a paper bag and you risk grease leaking all over your vehicle. I learned this the hard way. They use a lot of butter so you may want to ask them to go lightly on any many of the items. Chicken wings were not good and my sons garlic knots were burnt and unedible.

Walking into Pav's is like walking into your Mom's house on Sunday! The wait staff, especially George and Ashton will greet you with open arms and hugs. If JoJo is making pizza you are in for a treat. Then there's Dottie, and Lee who also provide hugs as you are welcomed into the restaurant. The food is New Jersey style sauce and Italian, awesome. A family run business you do not want to miss. While in Dunnellon.
