The previous review pretty much covers it all! Love the modern decor and jazz. Service was perfection. A bottle of Zonin Pinot Noir ($24) to start with the calamari, shrimp appetizer ($14). We took 1/2 the appetizer home to save room for the rest! We had the lobster ravioli ($22). Large pieces of shrimp and scallops, plus you could really taste the lobster in the ravs. We also had the chicken parm ($20) and both came with a choice of 4 salads - spring green, arugula, caesar, or spinach. The arugula and caesar were wonderful. Oh, how can I forget the Italian bread fresh from the oven with crunchy crust and warm center, served with the best pesto ever! We live right across the street from Ceasare's on the Beach and enjoy it, but plan on many trips to Pensare's. It doesn't get ANY better!

Went for dinner with my wife and a group of friends and had a great dining experience. We each had the veal picatta which was excellent and this came with a choice of three differenct salads, mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. Even with the size of the group (20), everyone was served quickly with a hot meal. Others in the group reported that their dinners were also excellent. Service was very good and our waiter was very professional and even spoke Italian. Everyone enjoyed the linen tablecloths, large napkins, and elegant wine glasses. The house chardonnay was one of the best I have tasted and the pour was very nice. They have a nice bar area and the entire restaurant was decorated with a classy elegance. The menu is quite extensive and should provide something to please everyone. There is a patio in the front for outside dining that looked very inviting. A free public parking lot across the street is available as is on street parking. We look forward to our next visit to this fairly new restaurant in downtown Dunedin.

Just opened and we had a splendid experience. On the patio with awning which protected the table from elements and wind. Just enough breeze to be comfortable. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. Fettuccine w shrimp and a broad noodle cilantro dish. Reasonable kids prices too. Drink menu more than reasonable with wine prices per glass or bottle. This place will do well and I rank it up there with Casa Tina and The Living Room.

When I inquired about reserving for Easter Day, the chef, Ciro, came out personally to
greet me. A nice personal touch. We were delighted to find that the Easter Day menu listed regular prices, not the usual "holiday" inflation. We relaxed after a stressful week and enjoyed a delicious Italian meal in the cozy dining room. However, the outdoor patio and wine bar looked inviting. Service was prompt and friendly with excellent suggestions from our waiter. Best of all, my scallops were cooked perfectly.
THAT, as any foodie will tell you, is the real test of a restaurant kitchen.

Pensare has only been open a few months but its a welcome addition to the dining scene in a town where there are already a number of good choices. We've eaten here twice and both were good experiences. Pasta dishes are what we tend to order and the Tortellini Dunedin is excellent. Food quality and taste is most important in our reviews. As already noted by others the dining room is noisy. Eating outside would be preferable if its not too hot. Wine list does tend to be pricey. We will be back with some regularity.
