I played this course on May 21st, 2013, as I understand a full week BEFORE scheduled closure for aerification on May 28th. The greens rolled as if they had been aereated a day or two before - slow and very bumpy. There are some pretty holes, but overall neither the course nor the conditioning will blow you away (right now). I intend to play the other courses at this facility in the future, but probably wouldn't choose the Baytowne course unless there were no other options. I did not think this was a very difficult course - shot 79 from the blues and played rather poorly (6.4 index). In fairness, my perception of the course and my experience there may be a bit skewed since I was paired with three extremely poor golfers, one of which appeared to have taken up the game the day before yesterday - the second-worst golfer I have ever had the displeasure of playing with. Still played in around 4 hours. Not too bad.
