This is a very interesting museum for people of all ages young and older alike. So much history about the town of Destin,Fl., and how it came about and all the different fish and many other things with some photos going back to the late 1890 and so on.Do not let the building fool you it is very spacious inside and you can buy gifts and other things.
I would recommend it to everyone.A small fee to get in ...seniors $4.00,Military also, children $3.00 and the younger ones get in for free.

Not a fisherperson but thoroughly enjoyed this museum! In addition to the native fish displayed and the local artifacts, I learned so much about the history of Destin! The old photographs were really neat. Kathy gave us a great tour and many interesting tidbits about the area!

It was a wonderful interesting and exciting entertainment and learning experience. I was completely amazed. Anyone visiting Destin, specially if you have kids, should NOT miss this. The ladies who run the place are very sweet and informative as well as hospitable. Definitely a must see.

It was very small but had lots of interesting stuff. Make sure to talk to the lady because she is magnificent. The museum wound up being extremely interesting and entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone. It won't take long to go through it, but it's worth your time
