I ate a late lunch of Crab cake entre with slaw, fries, tea, and Senate bean soup for $19.60. All the food was good with the bean soup my favorite. Unless I was mistaken there was no substitute for the fries, which I only eat once or twice a month due to a low sodium & low saturated fat diet. But they were tasty. The evening menu was not available at 3:30. Service was good. The atmosphere is pub—slightly dark, slightly noisy, a bit busy, no views outside. I enjoy a little more light, quiet, and water view—especially in Destin. But a work colleague has been vacationing in Destin for 20 years and McGuire’s is her family’s favorite place to eat here. So we can each choose what we like best.
