Description: In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.

“Best Dinner in Destin!!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

Just when we thought every restaurant in Destin was a tourist trap that served nothing but tasteless fried food, we found this place. Everything was nice we didn't eat out of baskets, we didn't feel rushed, and we could actually hear each other talk. The meals were a couple dollars more than other places in town but they were well worth it and came with a salad and some hush puppy appetizers. We both had different kinds of crusted fish with crabmeat toppings, cheese grits and a twice baked potato and both have some spice flavor added to it. my only regret is that we went on our last night and could not go back again.

“It Was Okay”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

We wanted to try this restaurant because of the great reviews. Unfortunately the food was okay. I was really expecting more. I don't think I will go back if in the area. The waitress and waiter serving us were great. They definitely made the visit more pleasurable.

“GREAT FOOD!!! A little pricey for sure.”
Reviewed September 16, 2012 via mobile

Great food, fab atmosphere, great service and unique dishes. Oh and an AWESOME place to drink. They KNOW how to mix one!! The child's grilled cheese was way overpriced at $8.00. Our total bill for two adults and. Child with tip was over $120 so be prepared to pay. It is wonderful though.
