Loved staying here for my very first time anywhere on the Florida coast! I have to admit that I was worried about staying somewhere not directly on the beach that ended up costing more than some of those places - bringing an old friend from NYC down to explore with me - but I'm so glad we stayed at the Beachside right across the street! The hotel was lovely - very easy to pull up and get set up, to check in even after hours (after 5pm), to find great food at any time (great sandwiches and coffee for breakfast, and suprisingly good sushi and pizza and salads for dinner), and to have access to a pool after a long day exploring or just sitting in the sun at the beach. Peggy and Kellie were great as everyone reports! The room itself was simple and great for keeping clean after the beach. AND there was a DVD player! The small fridge, coffee maker and microwave were great - we expected to go out to eat most of the time, but were happy to have a place to put some beer and fruit for the beach and to snack late night. As I mentioned, this was my first time to Destin much more the whole Florida coast and I was so pleased with the seemingly more laid back side of the town (still with enough options for ladies in the mid-30s on a girls weekend!), the access to the bike path (rode 10 miles to Topsail State Park), the proximity to Henderson State Park, a nice walk to beach bars (but not right on top of us), and even the few block walk through a cute neighborhood to get to the strip mall on 98 where we had amazing Thai food at Jasmine Thai and even got to catch a movie in the pleasant for a strip mall mall area (and of course the ATM/snacks/drinks at the gas station). Thanks, Beachside! I would definitely return here with my husband.

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs, probably a little quieter (although it was not loud at all even on a memorial da...

First of all, the service was incredible. We only stayed one night, but from the phone call to book, to check-in, to discounting our room because it had two beds instead of the one King we'd reserved, the staff was incredible. The location of this hotel was why we booked. Cross the street, and you're at a public beach access ramp. Perfect.

Great location across the street from beach access. It is a great beach with sand that is the softest, whiteist, cleanest sand we have seen and we have traveled to beaches around the world. Room very nice, big. They need to have more comfortable seating rather then just wood chairs. Bathroom very nice. Parking can be an issue for guest at night when the restaurant is busy. Located close to shopping and attractions. We drove along Scenic Rt. 98 and this is definetly along the nicest stretch of it. Didn't use pool because it was too cool and poll is not heated. Suggest getting a room away from restaurant if you want it to be quieter in the evenings. Food at Camille's was very good but expensive. The Sun Dried Tomato Grouper was unbelieveable! had a great time and will be back. Why travel to the islands when you can stay in the good ole' USA and visit this beautiful place!

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms more private because no cars are parked in front of your door. Room away from resta...

I found the Inn on BringFido website. I travel with my dogs, so to find a beachside location this nice that caters to travelers with pets is a wonderful surprise. The king size room had plenty of space for my dog crates. The king size bed was by far one of most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful with things to do places to eat in the area. This was our first trip to the Destin area but not our last.

Me and my husband had gone to destin for a true getaway this past weekend. We really enjoyed the stay there for two days. I would prefer to say that we stayed in the green room and it was just amazing. The linens were very well laid out prior to our arrival. The housekeeping service was great. They changed the towels the second day just to add to the overall experience.

We were delighted to find this gem so close to the beach. The cozy hotel offered a large, clean and comfortable room that included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and even a toaster. Honestly we didn't use these appliances because the on-site restaurant, Camille's, was the breakfast and dinner hot spot for us. The hotel rates were very affordable. Beachside Inn offers a multilevel pool and hot tub but we didn't use them. Beachside is also a great spot for walking to locals shops. This is a quiet neighborhood on a pristine beach. I plan to return and will stay longer.

Room Tip: The desk staff recommended a second floor room for quietness. Great recommendation, we didn't he...

We were here for one night due to a Wedding that was being held near by. Perfect place, room had everything you need, clean, and very nice decor, Beach right across a small old highway, waking distance to shopping and eateriers.

Room Tip: Ask for 2nd floor room, a little more quite.
