We had a group that went out on 11/27 and Captain D and Buddy were a hit! The trip was great and they all had a wonderful time. 2 of us had to stay behind but next time we will go and enjoy as well! Highly reccomend this service!

I booked at cruise with Crab Island Water Taxi on 9/25 online. I got a call from Michael James shortly after booking stating that CIWT was closed due to damage from Hurricane Laura, and would not be conducting any cruises that weekend. He promised me a full refund right away. It is now 11/5/20 and I still haven't seen a refund. I have talked with both Michael and Cheryl who have both promised to refund the money.
Short story, I paid for a cruise, wasn't able to take it and my money hasn't been refunded. Do business with this place at your own risk.

With having any hurricane there is a lot of chaos and with that comes damages to our property. It surely does take a few days to get things back to normal. If we talked about a refund and it has slipped by me, I am sorry.
I absolutely want to refund you. I do not want your money for non service. Please provide me your booking number so I can handle this directly with you. Also feel free to email me any information to contact you. I want to handle this right away.

A few days before we paid $600+ on our private pontoon with a Captain, had a great time that day and decided to do it again, but wanted to save some money. Compared to the private pontoon and Crab Island Water Taxi our experience we're the same, except it saved us $400+. We'll do it again each time we come to Destin

Spent a great day on the pontoon with 2 of the greatest hosts one could ever hope for. We had a group of 16 (8 adults and 8 kids) so we had the whole pontoon, which fit us all very comfortably. Upon arrival we were graciously greeted by Brandon (Big B) and Dory, who led us upon a wonderful day of cruising, docking at a secluded beach, snorkeling, playing beach football, hanging out at Crab Island, eating and drinking.
The boat was fully stocked with plenty of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, and we were welcome to bring whatever alcoholic drinks we pleased as well.
Big B and Dory told us many great stories of the area, fishing tales, and made sure the kids learned about certain sea-life.
Everybody had a great time and I cannot recommend them enough for their customer service (they made sure everyone was always happy, and provided suggestions on what to do).
At the end, they took us for an extra 30-45 minutes on a guided dolphin cruise.
Great day all around!
