“Fun place to visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

We enjoyed visiting the Destin Harbor over our spring break vacation. It was fun to walk down by the boats as they were coming in (around 4) to see their catch of the day. Lots of restaurants and shopping too. We were even lucky to see a few dolphins!

“Gorgeous water, fun things to do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014

You can rent Personal WaterCraft (i.e. "Jet Skis") or pontoon boats to enjoy the Destin Harbor, the adjacent Gulf of Mexico and the adjacent Choctawhatchee Bay (think giant lake attached to the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor) where you can enjoy waterspouts of all types. You can also rent a para-sailing ride on the back of one of those fast, big "cigarette boats" from several places located on Destin Harbor. You can also take a water taxi from places like the HarborWalk Village over to Crab Island or the peninsula that creates Destin Harbor, where you can enjoy the pure white sand beaches, swim in the Gulf or Harbor and enjoy the outdoors.

“Always Something Going On”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

Destin Harbor is just one of those places where you can go and see something different every single time you visit. This is a very real, working harbor. We love to watch the fishing boats return with their catches. Some very proud visitors with some pretty big fish! We love the restaurants too. It's all about the water here. Something for everyone.

“Watching the fish come in”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2014

I love everything they have done to Destin Harbor and the Harborwalk. Plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade, listen to live music, and people watch if you don't want to eat at numerous restaurants, drink, or shop. We happened to be there as a Charter boat came in and they had caught so many vermillion snapper, trigger fish, and others. We got fishing tips (bait and what was and wasn't in season) as well as learning a super easy way to filet. The guys were super nice and explained everything to children watching. If I ever deep sea fish I will take the Fifth Amendment!
