Owner description: Pop into our quirky green weatherboard tasting room ( Halliday 5* Winery)to try our award winning wines. Our range of wines are only available here at the cellar door so come and discover us! We stock a great range of local cheeses and Tasmanian Salmon, so why not grab a Picnic and go and explore this stunning Freycinet coastline. As we are a seventh generation sheep farm we also produce beautiful Super Fine Sheep Skins and Merino Woollen Throws weaved here in Tasmania. Great for birth gifts or a truely authentic Tasmanian gift. See you there!

We were greeted well and enjoyed tasting a few wines and we also puchased some of their excellent Penot Noir. There was a good atmosphere in this old converted shed which has been relly well presented. The walnuts we purchased were first class

A true expression of what we love about Tasmania, this quaint heritage cottage conversion into a cellar door had our interest. Passing by two other contemporary vineyards that has become the mainstream, Gala with its character period features made for much more interesting conversation with the friendly, down to earth owner. As a relatively new winery, Gala has started on the right foot. A modest location with direct road frontage was more welcoming to us than grand signage and long tree lined driveways. The wines were excellent, loved the Sav Blanc. Very picturesque so get your cameras ready.

This new boutique vineyard in Cranbrook is well worth a visit for some wine tasting! The owners have converted an existing shed to create a gorgeous, rustic, baltic pine cellar door. The owners and hosts, Adam and Grainne, are both cheerful, friendly people who have some great stories to share. And the wine...to die for!!! This is a perfect spot to stop when travelling the East Coast. And if you can't get to their cellar door, order some of their wine online.Their Pinot Noir is the best I've had!

The wine was great, especially Pinot Noir. Loved the Rustic Original Home/Shop with its classic old furnishings and surrounding buildings. A photographers delight and a wine tasters must do experience!!

We drop in on our way up and down the East Coast of Tasmania and the owners of Gala Estate Winery have done a great thing by not destroying the classic old timber buildings and surrounding structures. Great hand crafted wines that are superb. Well Done Team Gala !!! Steven & Kim.
