“surprisingly beautiful japanese gardens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

Lovely gardens built to styles of different Japanese eras. the 1km walk around the lake is relaxing and refreshing. they have a cute area showing you modern japanese homes, the bathrooms, kitchen, and you can even learn how to use chopsticks. The Bonsai garden was quite impressive with trees dated from 1920's.

“Beautiful gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

It was fascinating to learn the history of a group of Japanese followed George Yamato to setup a farming colony in Florida. The gardens are beautiful. Check out the events and education scgedule to see if you can coordinAte with visit. Lovely reprieve from intensity of Eouth Florida. We didnt eat at the restauant but the people eating looked happy.

“Beauty and Tranquility”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

One of my favorite places in all of south Florida. A must see. Well planned loop walk around a lake with many benches to stop and rest or just breath in the harmony. Many different Japanese garden experiences along the way. Have even spotted armadillos on my walks. You will feel like you have had a spa day after leaving. The gift shop is also very good. And the restaurant had good food as well.

“Adorable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

We have been there 40 minutes before closing but accepted to pay full price to see it and worth the money. A superb Japanese garden, bonsai garden, take your time and enjoy it for minimum two hours I would say. Relaxing is the word. A nice cafe with sushi and not only can complete your time there.

“Beautiful Japanese Garden”

Beautiful quiet spot to walk and think. The largest Japanese Garden in the US. The pathways and garden beds are always perfectly groomed. It is always worth a trip.
