“best burger in Delray”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

I have tried them all from the best steak house to the greasy spoon and I like Outbacks burgers the best! Finely ground meat gives a great texture, always cooked to perfection, fries or baked potato are fresh and just right! You cannot beat the price under $9 for burger and side - sometimes I am good and get steamed broccoli!

“Great food at a reasonable price”

The Outback Steakhouse in Delray Beach has terrific service and great food at a reasonable price. Our favorites are the salmon, the sliced pork, and any of the steaks.

“Oh dear ....”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We have eaten at various out backs all over Florida but we were so disappointed last night with this one. It's usually one of our favourite chain restaurants. We arrived at 6pm to be told a 35 minute wait - no problems so we had a drink outside. But by 7pm no contact from anyone if our table was ready. So we went in to ask & a table was found. Think if we hadn't of asked we may have still been sitting there now.

So to the food - predictably good ( as always) but just so disappointed with the service and not the usual standards we have come to expect! I know it was a busy Saturday night but if you cant seat us for one & a half hours then tell us !!

“Lunch with an associate”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

First time at this location. Was there for a business meeting. I had the lunch portion of a grilled chicken salad that had some cheese and greens with slices of grilled chicken on the side. Small portion of salad that had a bit too much balsamic dressing on it but the chicken was delicious. We also were served the warm loaf of dark bread with butter - also delicious. My associate ordered a piece of grilled chicken and some steamed broccoli which looked good. The chicken had some barbeque sauce on it which was not overloaded. Good service, clean space. They gave us three different menus to chose from so there is a nice choice with different price points. Definitely would go back.

“Poor quality Prime Rib”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

My dad is an avid steak eater.. An x butcher and restaurant owner, he KNOWS his steaks. Especially his favorite...Prime Rib... The piece of meat he was served the other day in Delray was horrible... 12oz of Gristle. The piece was about 1/4 inch thick... paper thin... he asked for it Medium rare, got it RAW.. The bottom was gray, meaning it was warmed over...
Before ordering he asked the waiter for ONLY a fresh piece.. they brought him a terrible piece. He took a bite, couldn't eat it. Couldn't even cut through it.... The waiter was called over, he replaced the piece with an even worse piece. Just as thin, even more RAW.. It was Gross.. you had to see it... Raw Gristle.. and I mean raw... So he didn't eat it. pushed it to the side. Picked at his potatoes.. which were ok.. The waiter was told how horrible the 2nd piece was as well.. Waiter simply took it away... When the bill came my father was shocked to see his UNEATEN 12 oz gristled Prime Rib dinner was still on the bill.
He saw a manger and explained his ordeal.. The manager did remove the Gristled Prime Rib from the bill especially since it was hardly touched. I don't know what happen to OUTBACK, but if you want a 1/4 inch paper thin pre-cooked gristled Prime Rib, Then OUTBACK is your place... If you want an 1 and 1/2 inch piece of great tasting PRIME RIB, go to LongHorn..
