I live in Delray and often forget how great the food is at Da Da. My husband and I took my cousin and cousin-in-law there while they were visiting us and they loved the food and we did too. We don't go too often as it's not as economical for a weekly visit, but every time we do we think to ourselves "why don't we go there more often." We take a lot of visitors there b/c of the food and atmosphere, but fail to go on own for some reason.
The atmosphere truly is great and although the service isn't consistent, it's good enough. The food makes up for it, though. I haven't had an entree that I didn't LOVE. Last time I had the Chicken Del Rio and it was so tasty. We had fondue as an appetizer which was mediocre (they only had swiss which I'm not a big fan so keep that in mind). My husband thought it was great. I've had the fondue there before and it may have been cheddar and I remember it being fantastic. So if you're a picky cheese eater then, just ask what kind they have if you go and more than likely you won't be disappointed. The arugula salad is also delicious and a great combination with the avocado and mozzarella. YUMMY!! We also had chocolate fondue for dessert and again it was ok (disclaimer: not a big dark chocolate fan & that is what they had so like the cheese, just ask).
Some of their best dishes are the Brie plate, arugula salad and pretty much ANY entree. Not so sure about dessert. Maybe go to Kilwins for ice cream?! Overall, the restaurant is truly "Delray" and I would highly recommend a stop by.
