Outstanding.... This is truly the best restaurant in Florida, with outstanding services and really the best Sunday brunch ever... We highly suggest this upscale mention. The food is the best in the country and their rooms are the most luxurious you can get with a plazma TV and all the amenities needed for the savy travelers. If you try it you will never regret it. this place is highly recomended. if you want to be treated like royality this is the place to stay and eat at.
We love it and we will make sure that all our friends will know about it. the Sundy House Hotel and it's De La Tiera restaurant is a world class and a true gem.
keep it up...

After reading the reviews we decided it sounded wonderful and ate dinner there on 7/23/05. The dining atmosphere was lovely and the service was certainly attentive and professional. The food however was completely un-imaginative and borderline amateurish. And for the price definitely not worth it. We started with the highly recommended tapas appetizer which had 4 items on it. A polenta fritter, a letuce wrap, a risotto ball and an antipasto salad of proscuittto and roasted red pepper. The fritter and risotto ball had no flavor at all and in fact if you closed your eyes it would be hard to tell which was which. And neither was topped with anything. Just fried and bland. The lettuce wrap was OK but clumbsy to eat and the antipasto was two tablespoons worth of well ... simple antipasto. For the main course I had a skirt steak which was about 6 thin slices of tasty skirt steak on a plate of asian coleslaw ... that was it ... nothing else. My wife had the Mahi Mahi which was a nice piece of fish on asian slaw .... nothing else. Could they spare a side dish with it ... maybe a carb or something. And perhaps some sort of presentation with some sort of garnish ? Just a plate with two items ...zzzzzz....boring. Not worth what spent.

We ate here on April 15, 2005 for dinner and it was a real treat. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was very attentive. The ambiance was very special -- you feel like you're on a tropical island. It is a bit pricey, so more of a special occasion place. I would absolutely recommend it. You can eat on the verandas, but I think eating outside near the ponds is the best. Reservations are recommended.

Located in the quaint Pineapple Grove histric district of Delray Beach. I have experienced both their lunch and dinner dining. The gourmet style flamboyance and artistic attention to each menu item was a unique experience. Upper moderately expensive, dressy casual atmosphere. Definetly a special place for a special occasion. All meals were absolutely delicious, magnificently served. We loved the tropical ambiance, while being served surrounded by some of the most spectacular tropical gardens we have ever seen in Florida. We loved strolling through the garden after dinner. This has been my favorite restaurant, for five years now.
