“The Best”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

This is easily the best restaurant in Delray. The food is terrific - and the desserts to die for (thanks, Michael!). Last night we had a very playful dessert - deconstructed jelly donuts with expresso ice cream - WOW! The service was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more.

“Asolutely Wonderful”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

After reading outstanding reviews of The Grove, my husband and I recruited two New York friends, also avowed "foodies" to dine with us to see if the restaurant lived up to its hype. Happily, it did. The ambiance of this intimate spot is soothing but not stodgy. A see through wine rack allows views of the kitchen. Acoustic tiles tame the noise level so it is lively but not overpowering.Dishes are presented by well-trained staff.
But the beauty of The Grove lies in its food. The menu is small and changes often depending on the market. Last night, the portobello mushroom soup was decadently rich, and duck breast was perfectly cooked. Pastas were home made and wonderful. Desserts were perfectly portioned.
And of course, meal starting popovers made fresh were amazing.
All of this wonder does come at a price, But we felt every bite was worth it. The room is small, so I suggest you reserve in advance, which we will do again and again.

“WAY TO GO!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Had a great meal here. One of the best meals had during our snowbird sojourn.
Had both pasta appetizers, all delicious but the star was the homemade wild mushroom/sunchoke
one. The salads were delicious. The brioche crusted chicken breast with kale was outstanding. Don't miss the vanilla souffle with orange scented creme anglaise sauce. Service was terrific, wine list was very nice. An intimate, sophisticated, delicious dining experience. This is the real deal. Not touristy. Serious food. Way to go!

“A real Find”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

We went for our anniversary. A really beautiful small restaurant. Seats 18 inside and another 8 outside. My wife ordred a great mushroom soup with foie gras and I had a very good seared octopus over roasted potatoes with a salsa verde. The chef sent out a pasta dish for our anniversary, excellent. Then my wife had the driver scallops, 4 huge scallops that she took us 2 of them and I had a breast of duck. Very good and attentive wait staff. Not room for dessert but next time.
