Don't let its location in a nondescript strip mall (deserted on Sundays) put you off. Cucina Fra Diavolo is a great find.
For the Lunch Special price of $7.95 each, my mom and I started out with all-you-can eat minnestrone, which was very flavorful and loaded with vegetables, and crisp, very fresh salads from the salad bar before our main courses. Entrees (a wide variety are available) are table-served. She had a generous portion of cheese-topped eggplant, I had a very tasty and ample lunch-size portion of fresh grilled salmon, broiled and seasoned to perfection--no "fishy" taste and not at all dry. Both came with fettuccini. The meal price also included Italian bread, beverage and dessert (my mom had spumoni, I had carrot cake--I saw some of the other restaurant patrons opted for ice cream). Not only was it a bargain, but everything we had was excellent.
This friendly neighborhood restaurant seems popular with locals, especially for dinner. It is very clean, and our waiter, Zach, was courteous and and efficient. Definitely a place we'll be going back to!
