The rooms are unique, because they have a 1970s rustic decor. The rooms are a relative disappointment for the price. They remind me of when I stayed at the Holiday Inn in the 1980s. I did like the red recessed lighting in the corners of the ceiling. It reminded me of a photo development room, which was oddly comforting.
The staff was excellent. They had answers to all my questions such as where the convenience store was located, and they had an on-call shuttle to the beach. The restaurant staff was very friendly, and the service staff took the time to get to know me and to connect with the other guests as well. The best part of this niche hotel is the beautiful garden with a reverse osmosis, UV purified swimming pond, no chlorine so fish can live in it. It is an excellent destination for weddings and wedding receptions.
I would say that the best thing about this place is the service. The people that work at the Sundy House obviously love their jobs and their work. The one thing that they could improve most in my opinion is the room decorations.
