Spoonfed is a newer restaurtant with great decor and equally good food. We had five of the small plates. The meatballs were so so. Bacon wrapped dates and tuna ceviche were wonderful. Olives were very good and the chorizo shrimp were also tasty. We finished with the caprese pizza which was very very good. Wine list is ok $30-$60.

Service was excellent although the waiter was obviously new and not used to a small plate style (not a negative - everybody is new at some point).

We're Delray residents and will return.

We decided to venture to downtown Delray for a last minute Saturday night dinner. We should have made dinner reservations ahead of time but we didn't. After walking around for over an hour looking for somewhere to eat, we found an open table at a fairly new restaurant on Atlantic. The atmosphere is lovely until you try to sit down. The first thing we noticed was that they crammed too many tables in the space. The menu was quite confusing. It gave the impression that it was family style dining with portions big enough to share, however, when the food finally arrived, the portions were normal size (making the food ridiculously overpriced). We ordered what we thought were starter salads that were to be followed by fish and steak meal. After waiting an eternity for drinks and then our meal, all the food was served at once. To say the food was bland is putting it lightlly. The steak came out over cooked and the fish was completely dry with zero seasoning of any kind. The 'Pomme Fries' that we ordered to share were deep fried in an unusual or perhaps previously used oil; they were terrible. We immediately called the manager over. The manager was very apologetic and offered to box up the steak (which showed he failed to see the reasoning behind us calling him over). Needless to say we promptly left and ended up having a great meal elsewhere.

This is a new restaurant in Delray...or maybe I should say that Atlantic Ocean Club was renamed? It has been known as SpoonFed for about four months according to our waiter... It is very trendy, and is on Atlantic Avenue...the upbeat street in Delray Beach, where everything happens...It is located in the same area as the Buddha Sky bar and is owned by the same owners...
It has a real Mediterranean feel to it...turquoise and white color scheme..The decor inside is stunning....but the place to be is on the pavement...so you can see the world go by!
The staff are all pleasant and professional...They serve..Brunch,Lunch and Dinner....
We stopped by for Brunch....One criticism that I have is that their menu has peculiar pricing.. for example, they start with a basic like French toast and then charge an extra $1 for the syrup....For a place that creates an impression of opulence this makes them seem stingy. When you order French Toast you expect syrup with it...so why not just charge what they have to, in order to cover the cost of the syrup?
The food was well presented and delicious, even though slightly more expensive than other Breakfast places in Delray...
The atmosphere and the staff definitely made it worthwhile...so I will most certainly go back to try something else...

We took our Mom there for a birthday lunch. I ordered the Lobster Eggs Benedict. The "lobster" was that nasty red rubbery stuff from the claws. The potatoes were those horrid frozen patties, like the ones at McDonald's for 99 cents, except this dish was $19.00. They chopped them up, presumably to throw the diner off the track, but alas someone forgot to chop up one half of the characteristic ovals...I think these are cheap tricks and when charging 19 bucks for basically 2 eggs, one should at least pretend to give a rip when it's mentioned to the manager. Just sayn...also for the record, 3 slices of bread in the basket, no refills. Our Arnold Palmers, no refills. Cheap may help pay the light bill, but its not bringing customers in. Certainly not this one, fool me once...
