We sit outside with the whole family and had a really good time. The fried calamari was very good, the pizza excellent and the carbonara was awesome. And the wine was very good for the price. I definitely recommend it!

At a restaurant, food is what counts and we give D'Angelo in Delray a full 5 stars! European (read, not large) portions, incredible tastes, perfect cooking and great service was our experience when we found ourselves up in Delray to get our dog groomed at Lap of Luxury Dog Spa, a few doors away from this restaurant. We found the restaurant to be "dog friendly" out on the terrace - and it was perfect for the 4 of us and the small dog each couple brought along. We will be back whenever we are in Delray. As we think there is more than one, we will also visit the other's if we find ourselves near one….

Traveling to Florida to get away from the the snowy, cold, icy winter weather we decided to visit family on the west coast. They recommended D'Angelo's in Delray. We were so happy to be warm and we were excited to visit a new restaurant. The family ordered the appetizers which were pretty good. The fried stuffed zucchini flowers were hot and just right. I loved the eggplant which had great sauce and was not over stuffed. The anti pasta was pretty good but my husband wasn't thrilled with it or his main meal. I enjoyed the swordfish with crisp green beans. He had a pasta that was plain and not to his liking. The rest of the family loved the meal but we left a bit disappointed. The wait staff was very attentive and it felt like family. It was a bit small and cramped but what isn't during the season.

Very disappointing. Service was alright but slow. Three of our four main courses were brought out at the same time but we waited about fifteen minutes or the fourth. The food was slightly better than a high end pizzeria. The main courses were appetizer portions and two were overcooked. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!!!!!!!!

Recommend you go on a Tuesday or Thursday to be serenaded by not only the musician the restaurant hired, but by any and all coming up to the mike to sing - and this was not karaoke. These people had wonderful voices. Food was great. We had minestrone soup - fabulous. Zucchini flowers - delicious. Entrees were terrific - veal chop, pasta Bolognese and tortellini (the sauce was the best my husband had and he would be happy at McDonalds). Did not stay for dessert. Too full. Wine list was extensive and good. When you reserve, eat on the back patio.
