Took the family on a Saturday night to Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife, two small children and myself were staying in a resort beachside and decided to come over the bridge to get away for an evening. We have a Lonhorn in our hometown and always enjoyed the atmosphere so we thought we would give LongHorn Delray Beach a shot.
We were greeted and promptly sat in a booth per our request. The waitress seemed professional at first and it being after 8pm, we asked if we could order drinks, appetizers and meals all at once and have them brought out at the same time...no worries. The lobster cheese dip was GREAT. The kids and my burger was OK and the wifes steak was cooked as requested. Wife ordered a frozen drink and it came virgin instead of with alcohol...we complained and thats where everything went downhill. Manager came over with an attitude, took the drink off our bill and we never even asked for this to be done. Waitress followed suit in treating us like the scourge until we left. We still tipped her out at 20% on a $80 tab because we left the table a bit messy. We left feeling like we wish we never chose the restaurant.
All in all the food was above average but the management & staff need a reality check. We will not go back to this location. Too many other choices.
