We had an 8pm reservation for four. When we arrived, there were no tables available. So Joseph stuck us at a ridiculously small table, where we were jammed in like sardines. He was VERY apologetic about it and bought us a bottle of wine (though not a very good one; if you're going to make the gesture of buying someone a bottle of wine to compensate for bad service, you should make it a decent bottle). The food was very good, but maybe a notch below our last visit. I think they may just have been a bit too busy. I would give it another chance; everyplace as an occasional off night.

We had a late lunch here. My companion had been before, so I trusted her when she claimed the hummus plate appetizer here was something special. To my delight, she was oh so right. Owner Joseph's wife makes it fresh DAILY and it is a revelation! Light and oh so fresh -- you'll be hooked too, ... and probably spoiled for anything lesser now.
We both had a very nice, creamy but light, pink lobster bisque that happily was NOT glutinous like so many inferior bisques.
I had a turkey club sandwich, which is simple of course -- but typical lunchtime fare at most Delray restaurants -- AND truly very good!
The owner is on hand and is gracious and relaxed. The decor is likewise pleasant and comfortable.
This is a delightful place for a lazy lunch where one may polish off a good bottle of Sauvignon Blanc -- which we did with delight. Rest assured I shall return for that GREAT hummus!

An upscale restaurant in the quieter Pineapple Grove district.
We had a very good meal at Joseph's and were surprised that it was almost empty. The food was faultless and we enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of wine, though most were very expensive indeed. Not cheap at about £60 for two mains, one of which was pizza, and wine but one of the best meals we had in Delray. If I had a fault it would be that the owner was a little overbearing in his eagerness to please, this meant that that we didn't feel as chilled out as we would have liked.

Charming owner Joseph and his family. A wine bar with excellent food prepared very well. A little on the pricey side.
