While searching for property near the Saint Johns River several months ago, we stopped into this little hide-away restaurant for a late dinner one night. Once parked, we took the "gangway-plank" to the front door, walked inside and were greeted by a friendly hostess all-too willing to seat us where we preferred.
We were happy to find a good selection of fresh entrees as well as ala carte options, all prepared to your liking; whether grilled, fried, poached, steamed, or broiled. Not many seafood restuarants will go out of their way to make your taste-buds pop, but this family-owned casual spot wil. The only disappointment with the meal was the size of portions for the price we paid.
So if you find yourself on or near the Saint John's River after 8PM and seeking a decent seafood dinner, you might want to consider this throwback venue; its worth the stop.
