A friend and I planned to go to another restaurant in this tourist friendly town, but it was closed. We asked some local people about a good restaurant and they suggested Santorini. Well I like good Greek food and I love well prepared Greek lamb, so this sounded like it might be a good place for lunch. The lamb shank was not on the lunch menu, but there was no problem ordering off the dinner menu. I had high hopes for an authentic Greek lamb shank cooked with Olive oil, garlic and oregano and this restaurant fulfilled my expectations. The stewed green beans with tomato that came with the lamb, was also tasty. The last few times I had ordered lamb at a Greek restaurant I have been disappointed, but thankfully not this time, this was greek lamb at it;s best.
