“Good food, extemely busy”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

This is an extremely popular place with the locals. I couldn't believe how crowded it was on a Monday night. It is so small for the number of people who all want to get inside. It was crazy. We had a really long wait for a table. Inside, it was a noisy zoo, not very calming for a dining experience. The food was really good, but I just wanted to finish as soon as we could to get out of the chaos and noise. We couldn't hear ourselves talk.

“Very good Mexican food”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

A Restaurant.com coupon gave us the incentive to try this small restaurant. We were greeted warmly, and seated promptly, then warm chips and salsa arrived immediately. A friendly helpful server helped us choose from a wide variety of Mexican-style food: tacos, burritos, fajitas, asadas, etc. The most expensive item was $16, with most choices costing much less. The food came quickly as did a second round of chips/salsa. My wife's Taco Salad and my Shrimp Asada were excellent and huge. The Margaritas were fine too. We had excellent, food, beverages, service and ambiance. Strongly recommended.

“Great value. Massive portions!”
Reviewed January 5, 2014 via mobile

We came here for lunch as the one in Boca was shut. The room is quite dark as there aren't windows but the atmosphere is buzzing!
As you sit down you receive fresh tortilla chips and salsa, that fills you up if you are not careful! Delicious though.
As main dish I had sizzling shrimp fajita, which was served with rice, beans and all the traditional fajita condiments (guacamole, sour cream and salad). The shrimps were fresh and really good and just at the right spiciness. Couldn't finish it though as the portion was huge, but I don't think they expect you too.
I really like this place as it's really authentic and it's a good place to come watch sport events.

“Terrible service. Okay food”
Reviewed December 26, 2013 via mobile

We were out for dinner due to a Mexican craving. Our first waitress was rude and cold while taking our drink orders. And came across as irritated and annoyed with the fact that we were a larger table (6 people). We ordered a bucket of margaritas. Once those drinks arrived we waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The margaritas were flavorless. We'd asked for water and didn't get that after another 10 minutes. Our food finally came out after probably about 45 minutes of waiting. It came on plates that were scalding hot. We ordered tacos, carne asada, and enchiladas. They were decent. Throughout the entire visit we had a revolving door of waiters. Might stop in again but all other Mexican options would have to be closed or swamped.
