Easily accessible from the Sawgrass Expressway. I've only been here for the Renaissance Festivals. They are a lot of fun.

Quiet Waters isn't a very big park but, it's big enough for what we want to do. They have camping (in provided "tents") that are on platforms (very cool), cable water skiing (very cool), BBQ and picnic areas. Been to many out-door parties (and the renaissance festival) there and have a great time!

I like fishing and you can fish some shores but it is not like it used to be. That said, there are countless things to do, so try it and see if it is for you!

For a fun day out with the family or friends, head over to Quiet Waters. I have some very fond memories here, especially of Ski Rixin!

If you are in the Deerfield area and want a break from sightseeing, Quiet Waters Park is an ideal place to spend a day. It is HUGE, over 400 acres. There are walking paths, bicycle paths, a lake with a very cool "zip line" that whisks you along the side of the lake on water skis. In addition, there are facilities for many other activities: canoeing, paddle boats, swimming, windsurfing, camping, picnicking, miniature golf. There have been places to purchase snack food, though I'm not certain they operate all year round. Best check that out! Access to the park is free during the week; I've been told there is a parking fee on weekends. The various activities like the water-skiing do carry a fee.
