We have dined here many times and it is a pleasure to always go back.
There is such a variety to choose from . Their soup, sandwiches and salads, etc are delicious. The service is great and if you can find a table you will enjoy the ambience!

We stopped in here for lunch with our Restaurant.com certificate, after noticing a sign posted on the outside of the restaurant stating that they will no longer those certificates purchased after 2/9. Luckily, we purchased ours at the end of January. The place was pretty full at 1:00. The place is long and narrow and is seat yourself. Beverages took almost 10 min to be received after ordered (iced tea and Coke). The soup of the day came in a 6 oz styrofoam cup set in a bowl. For $3.99, I expected at least a "regular" cup. The sandwiches were decent. The reuben was tasty, though small in portion. The same goes for the roast beef sandwich. The amount of roast beef was adequate, tho nothing special. Chips come with the sandwiches. For additional $, you can substitute chips for various side dishes. We were thinking about getting one of the desserts mentioned on the menu, but the selections in the glass case look sparse and tired. It is a nice change from the food court.

Came with my German boyfriend because he obviously misses German food. He said it tasted like real German food, which is apparently hard for Americans to do. The Bavarian Leberkäse is DELICIOUS and tastes like the real deal! The bockwurst is incredibly good. Everything I've had here tasted like the real deal.

Our German restaurant of choice on A1A wasn't open for lunch on Wednesdays, so our Garmin GPS suggested Mr. Dunderbak's.
The decor and dizzying array of cheeses, meats, beers and wines are impressive and entertaining.
We had the two signature dinner items - schnitzel and jaegerschnitzel with German potato salad and potato pancakes. The schnitzels were disappointingly tough and not particularly tasty, the tiny cup of potato salad was good, and the potato pancakes were so-so.
Maybe we caught them on an off day, but the best I can manage for this place is an "average" rating.
