“Great view. Great management”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Comfy bed and great view. Nice green yard and well kept pool area. Management is friendly and maintains very clean environment. Management strives to meet guest needs. Booked one night and stayed 4. Enjoyed our stay. Will stay there again if go off season.

Room Tip: No kids activities and no fitness center. Higher floors have better views. Efficiencies are worth...

We have returned to this hotel for 3 years in a row. We were very disappointed to find that they no longer offer a returning customer discount and when we inquired about the discount they had on their sign out front about staying three nights the lady at the front told us that it was $5 off per night if you stayed for 3 days during the week which we did but we're never offered that discount... When we have stayed before they always tried to match our previous nightly rate, but I guess with change in management and staff that is one area they don't try as hard to please.
The hotel is not fancy by any means and the breakfast is not a breakfast. We always pay for the oceanfront efficiency because the view is amazing and we prefer to eat breakfast in our room and lunch on the beach. Most of the staff at the front desk were very pleasant and friendly. We have always been able to check in early after driving 14 hours and this was the first time the lady at the front wasn't as nice about early check in since we've started coming here. She initially said it would be an extra charge and I told her never mind but In the past they had always allowed us to if the room was available and it was. So with hesitation she finally let us check in early to one of the two rooms we had. The cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall if you are looking for a good value for the price you pay this is a great hotel however this is the first year that we are looking at surrounding hotel prices because we feel without the returning customer discount we can find someplace just as nice or nicer for close to the price.

Traveled to Daytona Shores for a family wedding and decided to spend the weekend here. Rooms are outdated and very basic. If you are going to stay it is definitely worth the little extra to get beach side. Pool is freezing for no apparent reason and the breakfast is really non existent. Staff is very friendly and the location to tons of restaurants and the beach can't be better. Just realize that it is a motel and not anything more.

Ocean front room in this high rise hotel was excellent. Efficiency included microwave, refrig & dishes, etc. with coffee & pot. 2 dbl beds very comfortable. excellent room service which was efficient & timely. Staff was very accommodating. I needed a specialty med. equip. delivery & they handled that very well for me. While we did not avail ourselves of the "continental breakfast", we would have been disappointed by its contents, which were debbie cakes, sugary donuts & coffee. Being diabetic, i couldn't eat that stuff. There was also a jug of orange juice but the spigot was so close to the table, that when poured, you couldn't get more than a quarter cupful. Also, with service ending at 9am, if you slept later (as one tends to do when vacationing) you'd be out of luck by 9am; extending it to 10am would be more accommodating. Overall, a great experience and worth the trip in any case. We would definitely go back.

Although the price for the room ranged from $69 to $119, depending on size & location, we felt our 8th floor oceanfront efficiency @$75 was a good deal.

Room Tip: Prices ranged between $69-$119 dependent on time of year. Our 8th floor room was reasonably priced a...

I booked this hotel thinking it was close to Daytona Beach Resort at 2700 NORTH Atlantic Ave. It turned out to be South and not only that, but the address is actually Daytona Beach Shores, not Daytona Beach. So it was about 10 miles south of all the area attractions. A huge disappointment to us. Room was O.K. Do not expect luxury, this was more of a Best Western approach. The bathroom was huge, but so much unused space. Lighting was terrible. One of the lamps in our room didn't even work. Bed was not comfy at all and the bedding was awful. I guess you get what you pay for, next time I will spend the extra $30.00 and book a chain that is well known for its comfort. I will say, the entire staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was very quiet.

Room Tip: This hotel is South of all the Daytona Beach attractions.
