Let's start by saying this is not your typical seafood restaurant. The place is small...really small. It seats 30+ on the inside and in good weather has additional seating on the patio. There's no fancy decor. It's cute, simple and clean. The service is efficient and pleasant. But the seafood... The seafood is exceptional.
Now I know what you're going to say. "Fish is fish." Hold on my friend. Not true. The mahi was fresh and blackened. The crab cakes were flavorful and made with just enough filler to bind them. The sides were plentiful and good. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had. The coconut shrimp were done perfectly.
This is my kind of seafood restaurant. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but inside...well, that'll make where things were happening.
