Over the intercostal from Daytona Beach is the Old downtown area that now has some very eclectic and local dining. I know this area doesn’t get the attention it deserves anymore because it isn’t located on the beach, but is definitely worth the drive.

My rating is higher than average only because of the location. This area deserves your attention for the eclectic dining options.

After eating at Bay Street Seafood market we wanted something light and found Rhokkoh’s Frozen Yogurt.

Located on the corner in a bright looking line green painted shop is Rhokkoh’s. You can’t miss it!

You will find your standard fare frozen yogurt selections. Only disappointment was not a lot of no-added sugar selections. Only no-added sugar was vanilla. But I will say it was all very well displayed with the different flavors.

They have a decent selection of added topping.

They have left the interior pretty much original so it’s nice to see some of the original architecture in the storefront.

It’s not the fancy selections you might experience elsewhere but it’s great it s locates here.

Had a delightful day walking downtown and enjoying a nice dinner. Walking back to the car we stumbled onto Rhokkoh’s and could not resist. Loved the dog pictures on the walls but the frozen yogurt was even better. The white chocolate is to kill for!
Can’t wait to return.
PS: Downtown Daytona has changed:)

Rhokkoh's is a really nice, CLEAN, and PET FRIENDLY place to go for a cold sweet treat. Rhokkoh is, in fact, a Rhodesian Ridgeback who belongs to Tom and MAry the local owners of the business. Highly recommended, great place to go after a meal, before or after a baseball game at JAckie Robinson, or on any of the specialty events in Daytona- Bike Week, Jeep Week, Truck Week, Speed Week, the Rolex 24.... take your pick! Great for families or couples or just plain hanging out. Bring your dog if you want, they are welcome there for sidewalk seating and a doggie treat.

A popular place to stop after having dinner along Beach Street! They have a section of 6-10 yogurt selections and a toppings bar. They also started selling Dipping Dots recently. This is a dog friendly location, so don't be surprised if you see some furry friends while visiting!
