My husband and I went to Hyde Park Steak House for our Anniversary. We were taken to a very nice table by the window. On the table was a candle surrounded by rose petals; this was to let the waiter and servers know it was our anniversary. Arron,our waiter, was very good and had a nice way of describing the wine and the menu items.
We split a Caesar Salad that was really fresh and tasty. I had Chilean Sea Bass cooked in lemon, wine and butter which was very good. My husband ordered a beef fillet cooked medium rare, but when it arrived it was more medium than he had requested. He decided to keep it and he thought it was good, just cooked more than he liked. The sides were family size and way too much for 2 people. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts that came so under cooked we couldn’t eat them. We decided to bring them home and cook them longer. We were treated to a very nice chocolate cake that we shared. All in all, the service and the food was good and we enjoyed our evening. Arron and his staff were a pleasure and made our anniversary into a wonderful evening.
