Recommended by a nearby time share where we were staying. It was a welcome change from the huge, noisy, big chain restaurants that I am so tired of, but are near where we live. Mike's is famous for their "scrambles" which are very good. I tried the "meat-lover's" and it was excellent with plenty of bacon, ham, & sausage. It was only 25 cents more than a "one meat" scramble!
I also loved the fact that their bread/toast is all home made, and they let you have a potato pancake as a side for free (or you could still get hash browns or home fries). They do not have omelets on the menu, but the scrambles are very close, just that the eggs are scrambled. They also have pancakes, French toast, & buttermilk waffles. Hubby had a "cheese scramble" which he said was very good. Mike's is only open for breakfast and lunch, and they have daily specials of both. We will have to try the lunch next time!
