This hotel is in a perfect location. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The view from the ocean front rooms is spectacular. The pool, spa and fitness center are great. There are nice eateries within the hotel where you can get almost anything you would want. The outdoor space is awesome. We had a room in the South Tower. Our room was nice, clean and attractively decorated. There were two sinks with one located just outside the actual bathroom which was convenient since the tub/toilet area was very small. A couple of days it was late in the day when our room got serviced. It may have been that the number of housekeeping staff is insufficient for when the hotel is fully booked as it was during our stay. I must say when they did get to our room, it was well done! All staff that we encountered was pleasant and willing to help in any way.

Room Tip: We had a room in the South Tower....16th floor...less noise except for doors slamming.

Our favorite beach in the world. Great weekend with entertainment, food, weather etc. Always a lot of events taking place which add to the atmosphere. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Great fitness center, pool, and spa. The buffet breakfast is top notch.

Our visit from start to finish was awful...and still dealing with it a week after we left!

I called 4 times prior to our arrival stressing the importance of having a fridge which I was assured was NOT an issue. When we arrived, no fridge and the staff couldn't have been less concerned about the fact we had been traveling all day and needed to refrigerate our infants medicine. On top of that a total and complete lack of customer service, overpriced EVERYTHING, and we had a broken TV and phone.

We were charged for 3 nights we didn't even stay there! I am still waiting for my phone call back from the manager, which I see only responses to positive feedback, so guessing I may never hear anything back. I never complain but I have never been so disappointed and honestly this hotel put a huge damper on our vacation.

I will never stay at another Hilton again.

This is my second time here and I love the views from our room. Right on the ocean, beautiful sunrises very relaxing. Again the housekeeping staff was great. Ours was Genesis, and she was so attentive. Always greeted us and very nice. I would tell her we only needed towels or something and she would always do more. She folded my daughter's clothes and put her teddy bear on the bed. I told my daughter we should take her home with us! And she helped us get a refrigerator for our room and that was much appreciated. The rooms could use a good update but it was clean so I won't complain. I'm sure we will be back!

Nothing pleases us more here at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort than to hear a guest had another great stay with us and are sure they will be back for more. The sounds of the ocean here along with the views and the fresh ocean breeze are so good for relaxing. Your acknowledgement of our staff members who always go above and beyond for our guests is much appreciated. We do understand that some of our rooms need to be updated, some have already been and more will be in the near future. Hopefully you’ll be planning that third visit with us soon.

From check-in to check-out our visit was most enjoyable. We arrived around 2:00 Sunday afternoon (with a 4:00 check-in time) and within minutes were provided a key to our fifth floor ocean view room. The staff is excellent! They make you feel valued. (We had a little engineering problem and it was promptly taken care of.) Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable (loved the down comforter) and the ocean view was spectacular! This is a lovely resort and we hope to return for a future conference.

Room Tip: I don't think there are any "bad" rooms.

Checked into first room and it was so dirty and worn down we requested to be moved to another room. Second room was only slightly better. Rooms had dead bugs on floors and walls, hair on floors and beds, dust everywhere and big stains in the carpet! Hotel staff was surprisingly casual about the issue and focused more on why we might be seeing more bugs this time of year than with solving the problem! Furniture in the room was also very worn down. Both rooms were in the North Tower.

In general I would say the rooms and other common areas of the hotel are very worn down and are in desperate need of updating and extensive cleaning... The only thing this hotel has going for it is beach views. I would not recommend staying at this hotel and there is no excuse for how dirty the rooms were! Do not let the online photos of this property fool you into believing this is a high quality property!

Room Tip: I heard rooms in the South tower may be slightly better in quality...

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Stephanie MacCargar and the Hotel manager and they explained everything so nicely. The restuarants were great. The ocean front view was awesome. We had a really great time! See you next year!!
