Took the short tour. Real thrill to ride on the actual track and get a driver's perspective. Well narrated tour. Got to stand on the podium in Winner's circle.

Thank Tom B

My daughters friend is a race car fan, so we decided to take this tour to see Daytona as no races were scheduled. The tour costs $50, is 3+ hours long, starts at 1pm, and is only run on very limited days. You should buy tickets in advance as it is limited to 26 seats. We arrived about 30 minutes in advance as instructed. And the tour started on time with a briefing, followed by a short bus ride to the archives facility a few blocks away that is not available to the public, only the VIP tour. It is a jam packed building a race photos, cars, trophys and materials. Very interesting. There is some surplus archive material for sale cheap for the enthusiast. Next, the drive to the main track and VIP stands and suites. Great views of the track. While we were supposed to tour the actual track, we were not allowed as 3cars were training for the upcoming rolex24, and this was better as we were able to watch close up these cars move around the inner and outer tracks at 180+ mph. We were able to go to all the restricted and executive areas. Up close and personal The tour guides extremely knowledigle and freindly and the areas neat. Well worth the money and time.

Every nascar fan should visit, and if you can drive a nascar around the track it's a huge adrenalin rush

Very interesting tour of the famous speedway. Very little walking and lots to see. The track was in use the day I visited, but made it more interesting to me as I liked to watch the cars going around the track and chicane.
